How To Embed Website Links in YouTube Videos

YouTube is the second most searched website in the world but one of the biggest challenges that most folks have is converting that viral video into website or blog traffic. It would be a lot easier if YouTube just let you embed links to your blog or website in the actual video.

But alas, YouTube doesn’t offer that feature…. or do they?

Check out the video above — you might just see a YouTube marketing hack you like.

  1. Are you embedding links within the video using YouTube annotations?

    • Hey Matt

Yes, using annotations — but if you go and try to embed a link on an annotation you’ll find that YouTube restricts you to linking within the YouTube site. Linking out to a non-YouTube property isn’t an option they offer.

But we found a hack. So now we can. And more importantly — now our clients can!
