I’ll Drink To That!

But will you join me? That is the question I ask of you today.

To celebrate my new book, The Invisible Sale, I’m planning a barnstorming tour across the central, eastern and southern United States. Over the course of 10 days, I’ll visit and co-host 10 #ivs4charity cocktail, networking events to raise awareness of the book and much needed funds for local charities.

I each city, I’ve teamed up with DoubleTree Hotels, a few good friends and their favorite charities. Together, we’re inviting you and all of your friends to join us to have cocktails for a cause.

What is #ivs4charity?

If you’ve been around these parts for some time, you may remember the #Cocktails4Causes parties I used to throw at The Drake Hotel in Chicago where we’d invite everyone over for free food, networking and a cash bar. Then at the end of the party, the hotel donated 50% of the cash bar sales to the host’s favorite charity.

#ivs4charity is modeled after those networking parties, but with a twist.

Each #ivs4charity ticket includes admission, free food, a free drink (in most cities), and a copy of my new book (which I’ll be signing at the event). 50% of all ticket sales will be donated to the local charities and in most cities, the hotel bar is donating between 20-50% of the cash bar receipts to the charity too!

So you get to come spend a few hours catching up with old friends, making a few new friends and helping a great cause. It’s networking with a purpose.
